SALAAM will be marching with the Grand Marshall (El-Farouk Khaki) during the Pride Parade.
Below are event dates, locations, shifts and volunteer activities:
Date: Saturday, June 27 - 10am to 6pm, Location: Church & Wellesley St. , Toronto
Shifts: Morning: 10am - 2pm, Afternoon: 2pm - 6pm
Date: Sunday, June 28 - 9am to 5pm – Location: 314 Jarvis Street/Pride Parade Route
Shifts: Morning: 9am – 12noon, Float Decoration - Location: 314 Jarvis Street & Carlton
Shifts:
Afternoon: 12noon - 5pm, Pride March (Float) (All volunteers to meet at
APAA’s Office, 314 Jarvis St , by 12noon before procession to Pride
Parade route)
Volunteer Activities No 2: Float Decoration & Pride Parade Float: Distribution of Condoms, flyers along pride parade route.
Orientation, food, beverages and TTC tokens will be provided to volunteers.
